Enrolment Information and Virtual School Tour

Thank you for considering Thomas Mitchell Primary School for your child’s primary school years.  Enrolments for 2024 will commence from Term 2 2023.

Please refer to the link Starting school page on the Victorian Government Website.  This page contains information for families on how to enrol your prep child in a Victorian Government school and outlines the timeframes for submitting Foundation (Prep) enrolment applications for the 2024 school year.

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au  Findmyschool.vic.gov.au  hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2023 onwards.

SCHOOL TOURS

School tours are currently being conducted each Monday and Friday morning at 10.00am during the school terms.  Please contact our office on 9706 2254 to make a booking.  Please come to our reception area, sign in as a visitor and one of our Assistant Principals will be available to take you for a tour of our school and answer any questions you may have.  We ask you to follow COVID safe practices when visiting our school.

IF YOU ARE ENROLLING FOR FOUNDATION (PREP) 2024, ENROLMENT DOCUMENTATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM TERM 2 2023.  DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE ENROLMENT DOCUMENTATION BELOW.

Our new  Editable Enrolment Form can be found by clicking on the link.  Please complete your enrolment application and return with your supporting documentation to   thomas.mitchell.ps@education.vic.gov.au

If you prefer to print off the enrolment forms and complete by hand, please use this Enrolment Form Hardcopy Version for Printing and return to our office with the supporting documentation. 

If your child resides with one parent most of the time, and another parent on other occasions, please ensure you have both the Student Enrolment Form and Alternative Family Enrolment Form completed.

An Alternative Family Editable Enrolment Form and an Alternative Enrolment Form Hardcopy Version for Printing is available.  Please click on your preferred option to download, complete and return with the Student Enrolment Form and supporting documentation.
